System Programming on z/OS Practice Assessment 2.1

Overview

Description

This assessment measures your general knowledge of the tasks performed by the system programmer.

Audience

The assessment is designed for new system programming staff who are preparing to undertake the IBM System z and z/OS Fundamentals Mastery Test.

Prerequisites

A solid knowledge of the data sets that support system operation and configuration and how they are implemented using SMP/E. A broad understanding of security software and network configuration and commands is required, along with general knowledge of the system IPL process.

Objectives

The individual will need to answer 20 questions within the allotted 45 minute period. Reference to any related IBM manuals is permitted. The pass mark for this assessment is 70%.
