The CICS TS - Program Control, Condition Handling and Accessing CICS areas course describes how control is passed between CICS transactions and application programs and how to access CICS controlled storage areas. Information explaining how CICS can be programmed to handle exceptions is also provided.
Programmers who require knowledge about application programming in the CICS environment and the Command Level Programming Interface.
Knowledge of basic coding in COBOL, PL/1, or Assembler.
